Kathy Kim is a lead data scientist and strategist with the Booz Allen Hamilton Strategic Innovation Group (SIG) Analytics division. She has a passion for engaging the public sector on topics including AI and data governance, policy, architecture, and other specialized technologies. She previously supported the Millennium Challenge Corporation’s MCC-PEPFAR Data Collaboratives for Local Impact (DCLI) program, and the Aspen Institute Philanthropy & Social Innovation Nonprofit Data Project as a William Randolph Hearst Fellow. Kathy received a bachelor's degree from American University School of International Service and engaged in academic exchange with La Universidad de las Américas Puebla in Mexico. She is also a University of Michigan Public Policy and International Affairs (PPIA) Fellow and an alumna of the US State Department Critical Language Scholarship at Yonsei University in South Korea. Kathy is an active volunteer, advocate of DEI, and also a member and former Impact Officer with the World Economic Forum's Global Shaper Community - Washington, D.C. Hub.
